Senior Golang Engineer with AI expertise

We are seeking aSenior Golang Engineer with AI expertise to join a cutting-edge cloud and AI-focused project built on the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. The role combines backend development in Golang with modern AI technologies, integrating solutions based on Microsoft AI Foundry while collaborating with distributed engineering teams working with .NET and Java services.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services and microservices using Golang
• Design and integrate AI-powered solutions leveraging Microsoft AI Foundry and Azure AI services
• Collaborate with .NET and Java engineering teams within a distributed microservices environment
• Build scalable and secure cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure
• Participate in API development and integration between AI components and enterprise systems
• Contribute to architecture discussions, technical design, and system improvements
• Implement CI/CD processes and deployment automation
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business goals

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial software development experience with Golang
• Hands-on experience with AI-related solutions or integrations
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services
• Experience working in microservices architecture environments
• Understanding of backend integration with .NET and Java-based systems
• Experience with REST APIs and distributed systems
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• B2-level English proficiency for communication within international teams

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or related Azure AI services
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems
• Understanding of cloud security and scalability best practices
• Experience working in enterprise-level distributed systems
