Investment Funds Attorney

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on the formation, structuring, and operation of investment funds.
• Represent fund sponsors, investment managers, and other stakeholders in a broad range of fund-related matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate fund formation and offering documents, including partnership agreements, operating agreements, subscription agreements, and related documentation.
• Advise clients on regulatory and compliance matters affecting investment funds and investment managers.
• Assist with the structuring and launch of new investment funds and related investment vehicles.
• Provide strategic legal guidance on ongoing fund operations and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with clients and colleagues to identify and address legal, regulatory, and business considerations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience practicing investment funds law.
• Substantial experience with fund formation, structuring, and compliance.
• Admission to an applicable state bar is required.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong drafting, analytical, negotiation, and client-management skills.
• Ability to manage sophisticated matters and work effectively in a collaborative environment
