Pay: $18/hour
Hours:Monday – Friday6:30am – 3pm
Job Summary
We’re looking for a dependable, detail-orientedInventoryLead to join our team in a fast-paced automotivelogistics environment! This is a hands-on leadership position responsible formaintainingaccurate inventory records, coordinating daily inventory activities, and helping ensure materials are properly tracked, organized, and available when needed.
The ideal candidate has experience in warehouse inventory operations, is comfortable using SAP and Microsoft Excel, and can confidentlyoperate a Cherry Picker forklift.We're looking for someone who leads by example, communicates effectively, solves problems, and takes ownership of inventory accuracy and team performance
Responsibilities
Inventory Control & Accuracy
Monitor andmaintainaccurate inventory levels throughout the warehouse.
Perform and coordinate daily cycle counts, physical inventory counts, and inventory audits.
Investigate inventory discrepancies andassist withidentifying and resolving root causes.
Verify product quantities, part numbers, locations, and inventory transactions for accuracy.
Maintainaccurate inventory records and complete inventory transactions using SAP.
Assist withlocating missing inventory and resolving stock shortages or overages.
Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and organized in designated warehouse locations.
Helpmaintain inventory accuracy to support production schedules, customer orders, and shipping requirements.
Team Leadership & Coordination
Provide day-to-day direction and support to inventory team members.
Coordinate daily inventory assignments and help prioritize tasks based on operational needs.
Train andassist employeeson inventory procedures, SAP transactions, safety practices, and accuracy standards.
Monitor workflow and help ensure inventory activities are completed accurately and on time.
Serve as a point of contact for inventory-related questions and concerns.
Communicate inventory issues, shortages, and operational concerns to the Inventory Analyst and management.
Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Reporting & Problem Solving
Prepare and communicate inventory count results, discrepancies, and adjustments totheInventory Analyst.
Use SAP and Microsoft Excel to review inventory information, track discrepancies, andmaintainaccurate records.
Research inventory variances and recommend solutions to prevent recurring issues.
Assist with identifying process improvements that increase efficiency and inventory accuracy.
Work closely with warehouse, receiving, shipping, and operations teams to resolve inventory concerns.
Warehouse Operations & Safety
Safelyoperate a Cherry Picker forklift to access, move, and verify inventory.
Assist with material movement, stock organization, and inventory location verification.
Follow established warehouse procedures, safety regulations, and company policies.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe inventory and storage areas.
Supportadditional warehouse and inventory functions as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory management, inventory control, or warehouse operations.
Cherry Picker forklift operating experiencerequired.
Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Experience using SAP for inventory transactions and recordkeeping,required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
PreferredQualifications
Previous experience in a lead, trainer, or team coordination role.
Experience working in automotivelogistics, automotive parts distribution, or manufacturing warehousing.
Experience with cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and physical inventory audits.
Reach Truck and/or Sit-Down Forklift experience.
Experience working with warehouse inventory systems and RF scanners.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while providing direction and support to team members.
Dependable attendance and willingness to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
