Job Description

The Inventory Control Managerwill own and drive end-to-end inventory control activities, ensuring inventory accuracy, transactional discipline, and effective execution of inventory processes, including incoming goods, material movements, inventory reconciliation, and scrap management.
The role will proactively monitor inventory status, investigate and resolve discrepancies, execute and troubleshoot SAP/ERP transactions, and drive cross-functional issues to closure in collaboration with manufacturing partners and NVIDIA global operations teams.
In addition to daily operational execution, the Inventory Control Manager will own and continuously improve inventory processes, controls, reporting, SOPs, and standard work, support inventory audits and compliance activities, and identify opportunities to leverage AI, digital tools, and automation to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own inventory accuracy and control for NVIDIA materials at Jabil India, ensuring alignment between physical inventory and SAP/ERP records.
  • Monitor inventory, receipts, material movements, and discrepancies; proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Execute and troubleshoot SAP/ERP transactions related to receiving, inventory movements, reconciliation, adjustments, and scrap.
  • Investigate inventory and transactional discrepancies, perform root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions to closure.
  • Own and drivescrap management, cycle counts, inventory audits, and audit readiness, including reconciliation, documentation, and follow-up actions.
  • Drive cross-functional resolution of inventory issues with Jabil, CEMs, and NVIDIA global teams.
  • Develop and maintain inventorycontrols, reports, dashboards, and KPIs to improve visibility and performance.
  • Own and continuously improve inventory processes,SOPs, and standard work, ensuring consistency, compliance, and scalability.
  • Drive process improvement and identify opportunities to leverageAI, automation, scripting, and digital tools to reduce manual work and improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support implementation and standardization of inventory control processes, tools, and best practices across additional manufacturing sites globally.

What We Need to See

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in inventory control, supply chain, planning, logistics, or manufacturing operations. High-potential candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience withSAP or a similar ERP system, with the ability and motivation to quickly develop deeper expertise.
  • Strongdata analysis and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and drive issues to resolution.
  • Self-driven, curious, and proactive, with strong self-learning capabilities and the ability to independently learn new systems, processes, tools, and technologies.
  • Ability to take ownership, prioritize effectively, anddrive results across cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and diverse global teams.
  • Very strong spoken and written English.

  • Experience inelectronics, PCBA, optical, semiconductor, or high-volume/high-mix manufacturing environments.
  • Experience working withCEM/EMS organizations or global manufacturing partners.
  • Experience developing or improvingSOPs, standard work, inventory controls, or operational processes.
  • Hands-on experience leveragingAI and automation tools to streamline workflows, improve reporting and analytics, reduce manual work, or enhance operational efficiency.
  • Experience withPower BI, SQL, Python, scripting, low-code/no-code platforms, or similar digital tools.
