Location: Houston, TX (100% Onsite)
Duration: 3 Months Contract
Pay Range: $22.00 to $24.57 per hour on W2
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday to Friday from 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, open to OT and weekends
Description:
- The Coordinator/Expeditor is responsible for addressing material shortages in the shop, communication with the team, and ensuring accurate and timely material flows.
Responsibilities:
- Generate reports and review on hand material status, actioning each item daily.
- Make recommendations for inventory adjustments.
- Make recommendations for stock items and/or material status change.
- Prioritize materials for orders and communicate status to the team.
- Distributes daily/weekly reports to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Assists Supervisor with maintaining transactional system integrity.
- Helps problem solve Receiving, Shipping, or Material Availability issues.
- Investigate inventory inaccuracies and WIP transactions for validity.
- Generates reports or documents in support of Shipping, Receiving and Inventory
- Maintains documents per the Client’s record retention policy
- Process material and due date changes to released work orders as needed.
- Assists with LEAN initiatives (kanban, process improvement).
Must Have:
- Must have a High School Diploma.
- Previous experience in inventory/logistics control.
