Inventory Checker Clerk

TheInventory Checker Clerk is responsible for maintaining precise inventory tracking within a warehouse, retail stockroom, or fulfillment center. This position focuses on eliminating stock discrepancies, processing incoming or outgoing shipments, and investigating missing or misplaced items to streamline overall supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Cycle Counting & Audits: Perform daily, cycle counts and physical inventory audits across storage warehouses (Houston, Bartica, Berbice, Essequibo).
• Data Verification: Cross-reference physical stock quantities against on hand quantities in ERP system, purchase orders, or inventory management system records.
• Rechecks & verifications: for reconciliation; correctly check sort and verify products for  reporting discrepancies immediately.
• Database Management: Utilize inventory software to log stock locations, item updates, and status changes.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate variances between digital logs and actual physical counts by tracing recent transactions or paperwork.
• Warehouse Organization: Maintain clean, labeled, and orderly stock locations to ensure efficient picking and restocking workflows.
