Intune / Application Packaging Engineer

Client is seeking an experiencedIntune / Application Packaging Engineer to support enterprise endpoint management and software deployment initiatives. This role will be responsible for packaging, testing, and deploying Windows applications using Microsoft Intune while helping modernize endpoint management across a large enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Package and deploy Windows applications using Microsoft Intune.
• Create, maintain, and troubleshootWin32 (.intunewin) application packages.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for application installation, uninstallation, and detection.
• Configure application assignments, dependencies, supersedence, and deployment rings.
• Test application deployments and resolve installation issues.
• Partner with Desktop Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams to ensure successful deployments.
• Support application updates, versioning, and lifecycle management.
• Document packaging processes and deployment standards.
• Troubleshoot endpoint management and software deployment issues in Windows 10/11 environments.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in application packaging and software deployment.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience withMicrosoft Intune.
• Experience creating and deployingWin32 applications.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Intune administration.
• Knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Experience troubleshooting application deployment issues.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience withMicrosoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM).
• Experience withWindows Autopilot.
• Knowledge ofMicrosoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Experience migrating application deployments from SCCM to Intune.
• Experience supporting enterprise environments with thousands of endpoints
