This role oversees daily maintenance operations, trains and mentors technicians, ensures quality workmanship, and serves as the primary escalation point for complex troubleshooting across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, controls, mechanical systems, and building operations. EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & JOBREQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated technical training and hands‑on proficiency across multiple trades, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, controls, and mechanical systems.
- Proven experience serving as the technical escalation point for complex multi‑tradeissues.
- Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and develop maintenancetechnicians.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in commercial or industrial oil field facilitymaintenance
- Minimum of 3+ years within a lead or leadershiprole
- Current valid driver’s license with a clean driving record,(commercial license may berequired)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, andWord
- Technical proficiency with work order management systems(CMMS)
- Current EPA 608 certification (state licensing is a plus but not required)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; associate’s degree or vocational/technicalschool
diplomapreferred
- Must pass a criminal background check and drugscreening

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS &RESPONSIBILITIES
PrimaryRole
- Lead, mentor, and train maintenance technicians across all trades, ensuring consistent skill development and safe work practices.
- Perform quality inspections on completed work orders to ensure accuracy, safety, andcompliance.
- Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex troubleshooting across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, controls, and mechanical systems.
- Guide technicians through root‑cause analysis and corrective actiondevelopment.
- Support onboarding and skill development for newtechnicians.
- Coordinate with the Planner/Scheduler to ensure work orders are properly scoped, sequenced, andstaffed.
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems to include packaging and handling machinery, large air compressors, plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop equipment, grounds equipment, and HVAC systems among others
- Assist with installation and modification of building equipment andsystems
- Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer service requests asassigned
- Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmentalagency
- Leverage knowledge of past projects as well as new methodologies & technologies for use on project scoping through quotation and performance
SecondaryRole
- Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, and can paint walls, piping, floors and equipment
- Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions, perform both reactive & preventative maintenance
- Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems such as fire alarm systems, fire pumps and related fire protection system equipment
- Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and groundsmaintenance
- Comply with company dress code while working and maintain a neat and clean appearance while on the property at times other than working hours
LEADERSHIP & OVERSIGHTRESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide daily direction, guidance, and support to maintenancetechnicians.
- Train technicians in multi-trade skills, safety procedures, troubleshooting methods, and CMMSdocumentation.
- Review and approve complex work orders, ensuring proper scope, materials, andmethods.
- Conduct periodic skills assessments and recommend training plans fortechnicians.
- Ensure all team members maintain accurate documentation within theCMMS.
- Act as the senior technical representative during audits, inspections, and clientinteractions.
- Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuousimprovement.
WORK ENVIRONMENT – PHYSICALDEMANDS
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This role operates in a professional office environment as well as industrial oil field type environments both indoors and outside during hot and cold climates. This role routinely uses maintenance tools and personnel lifts and standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers to accomplish tasks. Extend hands and arms in multiple directions to perform tasks, Lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to fifty pounds. May be the only maintenance staff member on duty during certain shifts; may be required to work extended periods of time without relief when responding to priority / emergency situations (including overtime type assignments); may require shift work and / or stand-by on-call duties.
