Accounting & Finance Intern

Location: Luxembourg
Duration: 6 months
Start date: End of 2026, beginning of 2027

Your day at NTT DATA

As anAccounting & Finance Intern, you will join a dynamic and supportive Finance team in Luxembourg. Working closely with ourHead of Accounting, you will be part of a team of 4 accounting professionals and a wider Finance department of approximately 10 colleagues.

This internship is a great opportunity to turn your academic knowledge into practical experience in an international business environment. You will contribute to day-to-day accounting activities, support audit-related processes, and help improve reporting through tools such asExcel andPower BI.

We are looking for a curious, detail-oriented student who is eager to learn, take ownership of tasks and develop their finance skills in a collaborative environment.

What you will do

During your internship, you will be involved in a variety of accounting, finance and reporting activities, including:

• Supporting the Accounting team with daily operational and administrative tasks
• Assisting with the preparation of audit documentation, reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Helping to collect, review and organise financial data for internal and external audit purposes
• Identifying discrepancies or data-quality issues and supporting their investigation and resolution
• Assisting with monthly reporting activities and financial analysis
• Creating, maintaining and improving Excel files, trackers and reporting templates
• Supporting the development of dashboards and data visualisations inPower BI
• Reviewing system data and reports to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Preparing presentations, reports and research materials for the Finance team
• Coordinating meetings, taking notes and maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Participating in improvement initiatives to make finance processes more efficient and reliable
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and responding to straightforward finance-related queries

What we are looking for

You are currently pursuing aBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. You are motivated to gain hands-on experience in a professional finance environment and are comfortable working with data.

You ideally bring:

• A strong interest inaccounting, finance, audit and reporting
• Good knowledge ofMicrosoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI is a strong advantage
• An analytical mindset and an ability to work accurately with figures and data
• Excellent attention to detail and a structured way of working
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• A proactive attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A professional, reliable and service-oriented approach

Previous work experience in finance, accounting or audit is welcome but not required. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, committed and ready to learn.
