What to Expect
Consider before submitting an application:
This position is expected to start January 2027 and continue through Winter/Spring term (ending approximately May 2027) or continuing into Summer 2027 if available and there is an opportunity to do so. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program. Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships.
International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Events Coordinator & Sourcing Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly motivated, creative, and passionate about events and brand marketing. The intern will play a key role in identifying, planning, and supporting events throughout the Northeast territory that align with Tesla’s brand, business goals, and market priorities.Â
What You’ll Do
- Research, evaluate, and source event opportunities across the Northeast region to ensure alignment with Tesla’s brand identity and business objectivesÂ
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing local and regional events, ensuring seamless logistics and brand consistencyÂ
- Support event marketing initiatives, including outreach, promotional material development, and post-event reportingÂ
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to maintain alignment with corporate goals and strategyÂ
- Build and maintain strong relationships with event vendors, partners, and venue representativesÂ
- Track and report on event performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvementsÂ
- Provide administrative support to the events and marketing teams as neededÂ
What You’ll Bring
- Must be enrolled in an Academic programÂ
- Must be based on Long Island, NY, with flexibility to travel within the Northeast territoryÂ
- Ability to measure ROI and event impact post-activation, including lead generation, engagement, cost, and brand visibility metricsÂ
- Strong ability to source and evaluate event opportunities strategicallyÂ
- Excellent written and verbal communication skillsÂ
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitaskÂ
- Tech-savvy, adaptable, and resourceful in fast-paced environmentsÂ
- Prior experience in event coordination, marketing, or communications (internship or professional) preferredÂ

Expected Compensation$15.31 - $23.95 + benefits for all levels
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
