Job Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:- Support day-to-day IT operations activities by assisting with service monitoring, incident tracking, and operational follow-up across relevant infrastructure and application support teams.
- Assist in maintaining ITSM and CMDB records by helping ensure configuration items, dependencies, and service attributes are accurately captured and kept up to date.
- Support operational analytics and reporting by gathering service data, consolidating key metrics, and preparing regular dashboards on service health, availability, incidents, and other KPIs.
- Help identify recurring operational issues and support root cause analysis efforts by organizing data, reviewing patterns, and documenting observations for the team.
- Assist in automating manual operational tasks and repetitive workflows using basic scripting or automation tools under supervision.
- Support the development and enhancement of process improvements to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and service quality.
- Work with internal stakeholders to collect required operational information, support issue resolution, and help coordinate follow-up actions.
- Assist in preparing operational updates, documentation, and presentations for team meetings, reviews, and governance discussions.
- Support ad-hoc operational tasks, data collection, and project-related activities as required by the IT operations team.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in IT operations, service management, infrastructure support, and automation.
- Basic knowledge of ITSM concepts, CMDB, incident/problem/change management, or service operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Ansible will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize and interpret operational data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting, analysis, and presentation preparation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to learn in a fast-paced operational environment.
