Job Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:- Support the build, enhancement, and maintenance of the Regional Batch Orchestration Platform, including Control-M-related components and operational workflows.
- Assist with batch application onboarding by gathering technical details, validating job dependencies, and helping configure scheduling and execution parameters.
- Support automated installation and deployment activities by helping prepare scripts, test procedures, and implementation checklists.
- Assist in scripting and automation tasks using tools or languages such as Shell, PowerShell, Python, or similar, under supervision.
- Help with testing and validation of batch jobs, schedules, alerts, and orchestration workflows to ensure operational readiness.
- Support troubleshooting activities by collecting logs, documenting issues, and assisting in identifying scheduling or execution failures.
- Help improve batch operational processes through documentation updates, standardization, and simple automation opportunities.
- Assist in maintaining operational runbooks, job inventories, support documents, and technical references for the batch platform.
- Perform ad-hoc support and project-related tasks as required by the batch orchestration and automation team.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure components, Windows/Unix operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
- Exposure to scripting languages such as Shell, PowerShell, Python, or similar is preferred.
- Interest in batch scheduling, job automation, infrastructure support, and operational tooling.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset with the ability to work methodically and follow technical instructions.
- Good attention to detail, especially when working with schedules, dependencies, and configuration information.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to record technical findings clearly.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work collaboratively in a technical team environment.
