Position Overview

We are seeking anIntermediate Draftsperson with a strong background in AutoCAD and a passion for hospitality design to join our dynamic, collaborative, and fun-loving team. This role will support the design team in producing accurate and detailed construction drawings, design documentation, and project coordination materials for high-end hotel projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update 2D technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, RCPs, and millwork details

• Translate design concepts, sketches, and mark-ups into construction-ready drawing sets

• Prepare drawing packages for permits, tendering, and construction

• Coordinate with consultants and contractors to incorporate technical feedback into drawings

• Maintain drawing standards and ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency

• Support site verification and create as-built drawings as needed

• Participate in internal design reviews and respond to redline revisions in a timely manner
  

• Collaborate closely with the design team to support project timelines and deliverables

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Architectural Technology, Interior Design Technology, or related field

• 3–5 years of drafting experience, preferably in the hospitality, commercial, or interior design sectors

• Proficient inAutoCAD with a strong understanding of drawing standards and layer management

• Familiarity with Building Codes across Canada (US a plus) and hotel construction requirements is a strong asset

• Experience with millwork detailing and custom furniture drawings is preferred

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus but not required.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
