This role performs electrical and physical integration, develops hardware and software test programs, and ensures mission‑critical products meet technical, schedule, cost, quality, and customer requirements. The position works across engineering and program functions to strengthen system integration, verification and validation, producibility analysis, and test readiness for ruggedized airborne hardware. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team focused on delivering high‑reliability solutions for United States and allied aerospace and defense platforms.

Essential Functions:
  • Develop hardware and software test plans, procedures, and specifications based on design and program requirements.
  • Design, verify, and validate test equipment solutions to support engineering development, production test, and fielded product evaluation.
  • Perform system, subsystem, and device‑level integration for airborne telemetry, radio frequency, and secure communication hardware.
  • Support test execution, troubleshooting, and diagnostics for devices under test, including proper use of electronic test equipment and integration tools.
  • Lead or support test readiness reviews, test working groups, and integration planning activities across engineering disciplines.
  • Conduct testability, producibility, and integration compatibility analyses, ensuring seamless electrical and physical interface alignment.
  • Support failure review boards and root‑cause corrective‑action activities to resolve test anomalies and drive product reliability improvements.
  • Collaborate with systems, electrical, mechanical, RF, software, and manufacturing engineering to ensure integrated program execution.
  • Generate and maintain controlled documentation, including integration procedures, test plans, interface descriptions, and evaluation reports.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of four years of related engineering experience; or a graduate degree and a minimum of two years of related experience; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of eight years of related engineering experience.
  • Experience developing and executing test plans, procedures, and system‑level test programs for electronic or RF‑based hardware.
  • Experience integrating and testing electronic devices, circuit card assemblies, or electromechanical systems.
  • Experience using electronic and RF test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
  • Experience troubleshooting electronic hardware at the component, circuit card, or subsystem level.
  • Experience coordinating integration or test activities across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Secret security clearance.

Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Experience supporting airborne or ruggedized embedded systems for telemetry, RF, secure communications, or mission‑critical applications.
  • Experience conducting system‑level troubleshooting using RF or digital engineering tools and techniques.
  • Experience with automated test or instrument‑control environments such as LabVIEW, MATLAB, or similar tools.
  • Experience supporting qualification, environmental testing, and producibility or manufacturability analyses.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense or government customer test processes, deliverables, or acceptance requirements.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing production of electronic devices or secure communication hardware.
  • Familiarity with electrostatic discharge (ESD) best practices and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines for electronic test environments.
