Project Manager

About the Job:

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing Summit’s installation projects from contract signature through completion. This role serves as the primary point of contact between the client, internal Summit teams, general contractors, and other project partners, ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with customer expectations.

The Project Manager coordinates project planning, scheduling, budgets, risk management, and execution while working closely with Summit’s engineering, assembly, installation, and sales teams. This role requires someone who is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple complex projects while solving problems and communicating effectively with a variety of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Manage installation projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and customer expectations are met.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, Summit teams, contractors, architects, and other project partners.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, workplans, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, assembly, installation, sales, and other internal teams to keep projects moving forward.
• Identify and resolve project risks, issues, and roadblocks, including those related to customer changes or site conditions.
• Coordinate installation schedules and project requirements with clients and general contractors through meetings and site visits.
• Manage external contractors and ensure alignment on scope, deliverables, and timelines.
• Support project closeout, debriefs, and continuous improvement of Summit’s project management processes.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in a technical, installation, construction, or AVL environment.
• 3+ years of experience in the House of Worship industry.
• Experience managing projects from planning through completion, including schedules, budgets, and cross-functional coordination.
• OSHA-30 Certification required.
• Experience with large-scale AVL installations or other complex technical projects preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Ability to travel to project sites, including out-of-state locations.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured under Summit’s insurance policy.

Work Location: In person, at our headquarters in Colorado, with travel to project sites as needed.
