About the Opportunity:
GSD Search is partnering with a growing organization in the insurance industry to identify an experiencedInsurance Systems Analyst to support critical business applications across Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance operations.
This position will focus on the configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of enterprise insurance applications, particularly policy administration systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting insurance technology platforms, strong SQL skills, and the ability to work directly with business users, technical teams, and third-party software vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day technical and functional support for enterprise P&C insurance applications, including policy administration systems.
- Perform hands-on application configuration, system maintenance, and troubleshooting to support business requirements.
- Support insurance platforms such asInsurity WCXP, Vertafore, or similar P&C insurance systems.
- Investigate and resolve application issues, including configuration errors, data discrepancies, system defects, and production incidents.
- UtilizeSQL to query databases, investigate issues, validate data, and support application troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand system requirements and implement configuration changes or enhancements.
- Work with third-party SaaS vendors to troubleshoot issues, coordinate escalations, and manage resolutions.
- Manage application support tickets, incidents, and enhancement requests using tools such asJira or ServiceNow.
- Assist with application upgrades, system testing, release management, and production deployments.
- Support system integrations, data exchanges, and APIs connecting insurance applications with other enterprise platforms.
- Develop and maintain application documentation, configuration procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience supporting, configuring, or maintaining enterprise applications within theProperty & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry.
- Hands-on experience withinsurance policy administration systems, including application configuration and production support.
- StrongSQL skills, including the ability to write queries, investigate data issues, and troubleshoot application problems.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving technical application issues in a production environment.
- Understanding of P&C insurance business processes, including policy administration, underwriting, billing, or claims.
- Experience working with third-party software vendors and SaaS-based enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with incident management, change management, and ticketing systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with business and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience withInsurity WCXP or Vertafore insurance platforms.
- Experience with other insurance policy administration systems such asDuck Creek or Guidewire.
- Familiarity with application integrations, APIs, and data interfaces.
- Experience supporting application configuration changes, upgrades, and implementations.
- Knowledge of insurance technology environments spanning multiple P&C lines of business.
- Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, or similar IT service management tools.

We're particularly interested in candidates who have worked directly with P&C insurance policy administration platforms and understand how these applications are configured, supported, and maintained.
The strongest candidates will bring a combination ofP&C insurance industry knowledge, hands-on application configuration experience, SQL proficiency, and production troubleshooting expertise.
This is not a traditional help desk or general IT support position. We're looking for someone who understands enterprise insurance applications and can take ownership of application issues, configuration requests, and technical problem resolution.
