Job Description:
 
We are seeking an Insurance Rater to support homeowners’ insurance policy updates and windstorm mitigation credit processing.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Review windstorm mitigation documentation received by mail or email.
  • Update insurance policies based on verified customer documentation.
  • Calculate eligible refunds using Microsoft Excel formulas and submit them for processing.
  • Answer customer calls and explain documentation requirements.
  • Maintain electronic records and scan paper documents as needed.
  • Support a high-volume team in processing policy updates and customer credits.
 
Required Skills:
 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet formulas.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
  • Knowledge of insurance policies and windstorm mitigation devices.
  • Familiarity with personal insurance systems.
