A respected Southern California law firm is seeking an Insurance Coverage Attorney with approximately 4–8 years of experience to join its growing litigation practice. Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work on a broad range of insurance coverage matters and will be responsible for:

• Analyzing and interpreting insurance policies, including primary, excess, and specialty coverage.
• Advising insurer clients on complex coverage issues and preparing detailed coverage analyses.
• Managing all phases of insurance coverage litigation, including pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.
• Representing clients in California state and federal courts.
• Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda, briefs, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Communicating regularly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and members of the litigation team.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar.
• Approximately 4–8 years of experience in insurance coverage, insurance defense, or a related civil litigation practice.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and writing abilities.
• Experience working with commercial general liability, professional liability, property coverage, or other complex insurance products is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to independently manage multiple active matters and deadlines.

Compensation

• Base salary:$165,000–$205,000, depending on experience.
• Bonus opportunities based on performance.
• Full-time position.
