Teach 12 sch per semester
· Provide advising to assigned students
· Participate in curriculum development, assessment of student learning outcomes, and co-curricular enhancements
· Serve on committees on department, school, and college levels
· Engage in scholarly research appropriate for rank
· Participate in public service initiatives
Qualifications
Record of (or demonstrated potential for) successful college teaching
·Familiarity with development and implementation of courses using Open Educational Resources and virtual platforms
· Demonstrated interest in facilitating student learning and engagement
· Demonstrated commitment to professional responsibilities, student development, and service
Minimum Qualifications
· Earned master’s degree in the teaching discipline
· Commitment to excellence in college teaching and to working in a multicultural environment that fosters diversity
· Ability to use technology effectively in teaching and learning
· Ability to demonstrate collegiality and a sound work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
· One (1) or more years of teaching experience in higher education
· Record of teaching effectiveness
· Experience with learning management systems and online teaching and learning
