Job Description: We’re looking for someone to join our Data Center Learning team who is a strong designer and writer with a passion for clarity and for helping people learn.
Ideally, you have experience designing and building training solutions across modalities, from online job aids and e-learning to instructor-led materials and how-to videos, that support learners at every stage of their journey.
Our team develops and maintains the training programs that grow and support Client’s global data center workforce, from Day 1 onboarding through ongoing career development. We work backwards from the needs of our learners to deliver thoughtful, effective, and engaging training.
We are looking for a self-driven learner who can dive deep into complex, technical content about our tools, systems, and operations, and then think through the best way to help other people learn it. This is an office-based role.
You must be able to:
• Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs), Program Managers, and business stakeholders to analyze learning needs and design solutions that drive measurable behavior change.
• Design and develop a variety of learning formats, including web-based training, instructor-led training, job aids, how-to videos, and hands-on practical assessments.
• Apply Agile and ADDIE methodologies to manage the full content development lifecycle, from analysis and design through development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Translate complex technical data center concepts into clear, accessible learning content for a diverse, global audience.
• Collaborate with the Full Time Training (FTT) team and the Learning Advocate community, including SMEs and Checklist Validators, to ensure content accuracy and quality.
• Use data and learner feedback to continuously improve existing content and identify gaps in the learning portfolio.
• Apply AI-assisted design tools and workflows to accelerate content development, improve personalization, and enhance the overall learner experience.
• Create visually compelling learning assets, including graphics, illustrations, and multimedia elements, that reinforce learning objectives and engage a global audience.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high-energy environment. They will be a creative and analytical problem solver with a passion for helping people learn and for finding simple ways to convey complex ideas.
You have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently. You bring knowledge and application of instructional theories, adult learning, and on-the-job learning principles across both online and classroom instruction.
You should also bring:
• Experience designing and developing training materials in all modalities, including ILT, e-learning, and video.
• Experience communicating complex concepts clearly and persuasively to different audiences.
• Experience with project management.
• Knowledge of general AI tools.
• 3+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or a related field.
• Alternately, if you have experience as a technical writer with a background in any educational environment, and a desire and aptitude to learn about learning experience design, you may be the right person for our team.
Additional experience and competencies that are preferred include:
• Experience with Learning Management System (LMS) administration and reporting.
• Experience delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience in front-end web development.
• Proven competence using a Learning Management System (LMS)
