It is Onsite in Austin, TX, 5 days a week, relos are welcome but first day is onsite, and onboaring clears within two weeks
NEEDS:
HEAVY SCRIPTING AUTOMATION WITH PYTHON AND POWERSHELL

Expectations:
•Participate in the software development lifecycle, which includes research, new development, modification, security, correction of errors, reuse, test development, re-engineering and maintenance of scripts or software
•Troubleshoot issues in a complex environment to develop sustaining fixes
•Work in a global cross-functional team environment and communicate well
•Take ownership of assigned tasks
•Document processes and procedures
•Show attention to detail
Technical skills:
- Strong experience with Client Operating Systems (OS), OS imaging, OS deployment, and OS customization (Win10, Win 11, WinPE and Linux)
- Experience with imaging and deployment tools including SCCM, MDT and the Microsoft ADK tools a plus.
- Strong experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell, JSON, Perl, Shell, & YAML)
- Strong familiarity scripting in Python preferred and some experience in python is required
- Solid working knowledge of computer hardware, BIOS and driver layers
- Client and Enterprise-level, cross-functional troubleshooting
- Experience in a technology manufacturing environment
- Previous Dell manufacturing environment experience a plus
Education:
- Undergraduate degree and/or 8-10 years equivalent experience
- Technical certifications a plus (A+, Security+, OS Certifications, PCAP, Cloud, etc.)
