Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Java Developer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team of passionate developers and analysts, ensuring high-quality development and adherence to best practices. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot, as well as experience in cloud-native applications and front-end frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
• Looking for a Lead Java Developer with extensive experience in Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot
• Strong backend development expertise
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, or React
• Advanced UI development skills in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Cloud deployment expertise, particularly with AWS
• Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases
• Expertise in architectural design and multithreading
• Experience in Function Test Automation using PlayWright and Karate

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with UI frameworks such as Quasar, Vuetify, PrimeVue, and NUXT
• Hands-on work with APIs, REST, and integration patterns
• Experience with eventing platforms like Kafka
• Knowledge of DevOps and CICD practices

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers and analysts, providing technical guidance and mentorship
• Design scalable and robust solutions aligned with business needs and system architecture
• Manage integrations with third-party applications and enterprise systems
• Monitor and optimize application platform performance for high availability and reliability
• Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance standards
• Collaborate with business teams, product managers, and other technical teams to deliver solutions
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards
• Develop and deploy scalable Java J2EE applications and micro-services using Spring Boot
• Build dynamic front-end applications and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS
