- Strong experience with Starburst Enterprise/Trino/Presto
- Strong experience with advanced Linux scripting and proficiency in a language. Preferred Redhat 8 Administration and Ansible
- Experience with Iceberg, Hive, or similar table formats
- Solid understanding of distributed query engines and data architectures
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc)
- Hands on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform or similar IaC tools
- Proficiency in at least on programming language (Python, or similar)
- Experience implementing data security, access controls and governance at scale
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
