Information Security Engineer

NYSERDA is seeking anInformation Security Engineer to support security operations and initiatives.

The role may involve:

• Onsite support at NYSERDA offices

• Remote work arrangements

• Field work at NYSERDA sites when required

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in information security engineering or security operations

• Experience securing enterprise IT environments

• Knowledge of network, system, and cloud security best practices

• Ability to support audits, compliance, and security controls

Primary Technologies in Use (Exposure Preferred):

• Microsoft ecosystem (Windows Server, Azure, SQL Server)

• Office 365 / SharePoint Online security

• Salesforce platform security exposure

• Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)

• Tableau (data access & security awareness)

• Oracle PeopleSoft (environment exposure)

Preferred Certifications (Client-Requested):

• Cisco Certified Network Engineer (CCNA)

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

• Microsoft Certified Software Engineer (MCSE)

• Other relevant security or infrastructure certifications

Copies of valid certificates must be provided if available.
