Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze incoming cybersecurity threats, risks, and vulnerabilities.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware, phishing, and unauthorized access.
- Conduct forensic investigations, collect advanced data, and support eDiscovery requests.
- Assist Legal, HR, and other teams with security-related investigations while maintaining evidence integrity.
- Use tools such as Magnet Forensics Axiom Cyber, Splunk, Microsoft Defender, and MITRE Telecommunication&CK framework.
- Document findings, prepare incident reports, and communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
- Support tabletop exercises to test and improve incident response processes.
- Review vulnerability scans and penetration test results, and recommend improvements.
- Develop and update security policies, procedures, and awareness training.
- Collaborate with IT teams to protect data and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, audit, assessment, engineering, or architecture.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to explain technical issues to business and non-technical teams.
- Experience developing security policies and standards.
- Strong consulting, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Financial Services industry experience.
- Law enforcement and/or forensic investigation experience preferred.
