Information Security Analyst
Location: Mount Laurel, NJ
Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid — currently 2 days/week in office, migrating to 4 days shortly
Contract Details
- Position Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: 12 months (extension possible)
- Pay Rate: $85.00–$92.00 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: Monday–Friday, core business hours; overtime as needed
- Travel Requirements: Not required

Job Summary
This role is aBusiness Information Security Officer (BISO) in support of the Currency Factory for U.S. applications. A dedicated resource is required to support Currency Factory activities, including oversight of currency uplifts (updating of applications and their infrastructure off of end-of-support tools, infrastructure, and solutions), validation of TARAs and CGAs, tracking control exceptions, and ensuring applications meet standards and the scope of the Currency Factory. This role also provides critical reporting and visibility to the U.S. GR&C team, enabling proactive identification of out-of-compliance assets and supporting overall portfolio alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Attending meetings and standups to identify scope of "Currency Factory Work"
- Working with application-assigned BISOs to review assessments — TARAs and CGAs
- Updating those assessments (working with the BISO, the BAO, and TAO) to completion
- Ensuring that projects stay within the defined scope of Currency Factory Work
- Reporting to both BISO teams and Currency Teams to keep both informed
- Participating in multiple meetings weekly — with uplift projects, with the Currency Factory Team, and the U.S. BISO Team
- Completing weekly tracker and reporting to identify work completed and concerns identified
- Tracking overall success of Currency Uplifts against reducing asset vulnerabilities, control gap assessments, and End of Life/Support concerns
Required Skills
- 5+ years of Information Security experience
- Archer tool experience
- ServiceNow experience
- Experience conducting risk assessments
- Risk technology framework knowledge
- Experience challenging 1st line of defense (1B) Third Party Risk Activities
- IT governance experience in information security and controls risk frameworks
- Experience in a BISO role; ability to interact with other BISOs and conduct TARA reviews
- Issue management experience
- Experience in Workforce Identity Access Management and/or Customer Identity Access Management applications
- Time management skills
- Ability to work independently and be self-reliant and self-motivated
Preferred Skills
- CISSP, CISM, or similar industry certification/training
Education Requirements
- Associate degree in Technology (required)
- CISSP or CISM certification preferred (no certification is strictly required)
Required Experience
- 5 years of overall Information Security experience
- 5 years with Archer tool
- 5 years of IT governance experience in information security and controls risk frameworks
- 5 years challenging 1B / First Line of Defense Third Party Risk Activities
- 3 years conducting risk assessments
- 3 years with ServiceNow
- 3 years of Information Security Specialist experience
- Experience with application currency focus and BISO responsibilities
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Approximately 50% of time spent in meetings
- Interactions are internal only; no access to customer data
- Training period of approximately 2 months
- Team size: 4 people
