- Lead the design, development, and optimization of complex, large-scale ETL workflows using Informatica PC/IICS.
- Architect end-to-end data integration solutions aligned with enterprise data strategies.
- Analyze and translate business requirements into robust technical designs.
- Drive performance tuning, automation, and optimization for ETL pipelines.
- Develop Unix/Linux shell scripts for orchestration
- Work closely with architects to define data models, standards, and best practices.
- Oversee job scheduling strategies using enterprise tools such as ESP, AutoSys, or Control-M.
- Lead production incident triage, root-cause analysis, and long-term remediation planning.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, conduct design/code reviews, and establish best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Architecture, QA, Platform Engineering, and Product teams.
- Provide technical leadership in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimations, and roadmap discussions.

- 6–10 years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or IICS.
- Expert understanding of ETL/ELT frameworks, data warehousing concepts, and enterprise data architectures.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL with strong experience in relational and analytical databases.
- Extensive experience with Unix/Linux scripting and workflow automation.
- Good exposure with scheduling tools such as ESP, AutoSys, Control-M, or equivalent.
- Good understanding of data modeling, data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
- Good experience in performance tuning for both SQL and ETL pipelines.
- Experience leading medium to large data engineering initiatives.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), including cloud ETL/integration services.
- Working knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for automation or data processing.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Git-based workflows.
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality tools such as IDQ, Collibra, Alation, or Informatica Axon.
- Exposure to big data ecosystems (Spark, Databricks, Hadoop) is a plus.
- Understanding of API integrations, event-driven architecture, and real-time data processing.
