Experience

7+ years of experience, with strong hands-on experience in Infor XA EFIN

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Infor XA EFIN Functional Consultant to support Infor XA implementation, migration, enhancement, integration, and application support engagements.

The ideal candidate should have strong functional expertise in Infor XA Financials / EFIN, with experience working across finance and accounting processes, XA environments, integrations, testing, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional expertise in Infor XA EFIN / Financial Management.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into XA EFIN functional solutions.

• Configure and support financial processes within Infor XA.

• Work closely with business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders.

• Support implementation, enhancement, upgrade, and migration projects.

• Participate in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

• Provide functional support for financial transactions and accounting processes.

• Troubleshoot functional issues and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.

• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documentation, test scenarios, and user documentation.

• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and post-go-live stabilization.

• Provide production support and resolve functional issues within agreed SLAs.

• Support integrations between XA EFIN and other enterprise applications.

• Participate in XA version migration/upgrade projects, particularly migration from older XA versions to XA V10/V11.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with:

• Infor XA architecture and modules

• EFIN / XA Financials

• XA customization and enhancements

• XA troubleshooting

• XA testing and production support

• XA version upgrades and migration

• Infor XA V10 and/or V11

Migration Experience

Experience in Infor XA migration or upgrade projects will be highly preferred.

The consultant should understand:

• Current-state assessment of legacy XA environments

• Migration/upgrade planning

• Functional impact analysis

• Data validation and reconciliation

• Financial data migration

• Configuration migration

• Integration validation

• Testing and defect resolution

• Cutover support

• Post-migration stabilization

Integration & Technical Exposure

Functional knowledge of the following will be an advantage:

• Infor XA integrations

• APIs / web services

• Infor ION

• Infor OS

• Database concepts

• SQL

• External banking/financial systems

• Third-party applications

• ERP-to-ERP integrations

Required Experience

• 7+ years of ERP/Infor experience.

• Strong hands-on experience in Infor XA EFIN.

• Experience in at least one Infor XA implementation, upgrade, migration, or support project.

• Experience working directly with finance/business users.

• Strong understanding of financial accounting processes.

• Ability to independently analyze requirements and provide functional solutions.

• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Experience working in offshore/onsite or distributed project teams.

Preferred Experience

• XA V10/V11 implementation or migration experience.

• Experience migrating from older XA versions to V10/V11.

• Experience with Infor XA EFIN and IFM.

• Experience in manufacturing environments.

• Experience with XA integrations and interfaces.

• Exposure to Infor LN, M3 or other Infor ERP products.

• Experience working in international client environments.
