Job Description :
Position Summary The Customer Order Management Functional Solution Architect provides global functional leadership for Infor M3 across customer care, sales administration, tool rentals and service.
This role translates business priorities into scalable, supportable solutions while protecting the global template and reducing unnecessary customization.
What You Will Do
Lead end-to-end solution design for Customer Order Management capabilities and related cross-functional processes.
Own functional architecture, configuration standards, and alignment to the global M3 template.
Facilitate discovery and fit-gap sessions with business stakeholders and regional teams.
Translate approved requirements into functional designs, specifications, test scenarios, and implementation guidance.
Recommend configuration, process change, integration, or extension approaches based on business value and long-term supportability.
Partner with Product Management, Technical Architecture, Integrations, Development, Testing, and Support teams.
Provide expert guidance for complex incidents, root-cause analysis, releases, and production transitions.
Coach analysts and strengthen consistent functional practices across regions.
Required Qualifications
Extensive functional experience with Infor M3 Customer Order Management or a comparable global ERP platform.
Strong knowledge of order-to-cash, pricing, tool rentals and service.
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional solution design, fit-gap analysis, configuration decisions, and functional specifications.
Ability to evaluate downstream impacts across interconnected operational processes and regions.
Ability to communicate complex ERP concepts clearly to operational, technical, and leadership audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting a global or multi-region Infor M3 environment.
Experience with ERP governance, design authority, global templates, and controlled regional variation.
Understanding of integrations, data dependencies, testing, release management, and production support.
Strong facilitation, documentation, stakeholder-management, and decision-making skills.

Position Summary Provide global functional solution architecture leadership for Infor M3 supply chain, manufacturing, warehousing, branch, and logistics capabilities.
The Solution Architect converts business requirements into cohesive, scalable, and supportable M3 designs; governs regional variation and customization; and guides analysts, developers, Infor, and delivery partners through design, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Architecture and Solution Design
Own end-to-end M3 functional architecture across demand and supply planning, procurement, manufacturing, inventory, warehousing, branch operations, fulfillment, shipping, quality, maintenance, and logistics.
Translate business requirements into solution options, global and regional design decisions, process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
Write functional design documents or approve those written by regional analysts.
Assess impacts across M3 modules, companies and divisions, master data, integrations, reporting, security, documents, controls, and edge applications.
Define where regional variation is required and where common global design should be maintained.
Promote standard CloudSuite capabilities and process alternatives before endorsing customization.
Support design reviews, fit-to-standard decisions, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, cutover, hypercare, and stabilization.
Ensure regional requirements, compliance initiatives, monthly updates, and approved enhancements remain aligned with the global solution.
Guide regional analysts and delivery partners and ensure designs are understood, documented, tested, and supportable.
Design Governance and Customization Control Co-lead the ERP Design Authority with ERP Technical Architecture and other Functional Solution Architects.
Evaluate proposed solutions for business value, operational efficiency, process fit, complexity, testing burden, support cost, release impact, and lifecycle risk.
Review Infor and partner designs and require complete documentation, traceability, knowledge transfer, and operational ownership.
Maintain functional architecture standards, decision records, process and configuration principles, and an inventory of significant regional variations. Operational Support and Continuous Improvement
Provide retained L3 functional leadership for complex incidents, recurring problems, and high-impact operational issues.
Partner with Service Operations, regional analysts, ERP Engineering, and Integration Engineering to restore service and define permanent correction.
Assess CloudSuite updates and planned releases for functional and operational impact to supply-chain, manufacturing, warehousing, branch, and logistics processes.
