Infor M3 Finance Consultant

We are looking for an experiencedInfor M3 Finance Consultant with strong functional expertise inInfor M3 Financial Management and Inventory Accounting/Consolidation.

The consultant will be responsible for supporting the implementation, configuration, integration, testing, and ongoing optimization of Infor M3 Finance processes, with a particular focus oninventory consolidation, inventory valuation, financial reconciliation, and integration between inventory and finance modules.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with manufacturing and/or distribution organizations and be comfortable working directly with business stakeholders and project teams in anonsite environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supportInfor M3 Finance functional activities across implementation and support engagements.

• Configure and optimize M3 Finance processes based on business requirements.

• Provide expertise ininventory accounting, inventory valuation, inventory reconciliation, and consolidation.

• Analyze and resolve discrepancies betweeninventory sub-ledger and General Ledger.

• Support inventory-to-finance integration and ensure accurate financial postings.

• Work oninventory consolidation across warehouses, business units, companies, and/or legal entities.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to inventory and finance.

• Configure and validate financial dimensions, accounting rules, posting controls, and transaction flows.

• Work with procurement, sales, warehouse, manufacturing, and finance teams to ensure end-to-end transaction integrity.

• Perform business process analysis, gap identification, and solution design.

• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for required developments and integrations.

• Support data migration, data validation, system testing, UAT, cutover, and go-live activities.

• Investigate production issues and provide root-cause analysis and resolution.

• Conduct user training and prepare functional documentation.

• Work closely with project managers, technical consultants, integration teams, and customer stakeholders.

Specialized Expertise – Inventory Consolidation

Strong practical experience ininventory consolidation is mandatory.

The consultant should be able to:

• Understand inventory movements across multiple warehouses and locations.

• Reconcile physical inventory, inventory transactions, and financial postings.

• Analyze inventory valuation and its impact on financial statements.

• Handle inventory consolidation across multiple entities/business units.

• Identify and resolve inventory-to-GL discrepancies.

• Understand accounting implications of receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, returns, and other inventory transactions.

• Support intercompany inventory transactions and eliminations where applicable.

• Ensure accurate inventory valuation and financial reporting.

• Work with finance and supply-chain teams to establish appropriate reconciliation processes.

• Support inventory closing and period-end activities.

Experience with Infor M3 manufacturing and supply-chain processes will be highly valuable, particularly:
