Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Infor IFM Functional Consultant with proven experience in Infor Financial Management (IFM) implementation projects.

The consultant will be responsible for working with business stakeholders to understand financial requirements, configure IFM, support integrations, execute testing, and provide implementation and post-go-live support.

The ideal candidate should have experience delivering end-to-end IFM implementations, preferably in manufacturing, distribution, or other complex multi-entity environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. IFM Implementation

• Participate in end-to-end Infor IFM implementation projects.

• Conduct business requirement gathering and process workshops.

• Analyze existing finance processes and identify gaps.

• Perform fit-gap analysis between business requirements and IFM functionality.

• Design and document future-state finance processes.

• Configure IFM based on approved business requirements.

• Support data migration and validation.

• Support system integration and interface requirements.

• Participate in cutover planning and go-live activities.

• Provide post-go-live stabilization and production support.

2. Financial Functional Configuration

Hands-on experience in configuring and supporting:

• General Ledger

• Accounts Payable

• Accounts Receivable

• Cash / Bank Management

• Chart of Accounts

• Accounting structures

• Journals and journal processing

• Financial periods

• Fiscal calendars

• Currency and exchange-rate configuration

• Tax configuration

• Intercompany accounting

• Multi-company environments

• Financial allocations

• Financial reporting

• Closing processes

• Reconciliation processes

3. Business Process Analysis

• Conduct workshops with Finance and Accounting teams.

• Document AS-IS and TO-BE processes.

• Translate business requirements into IFM functional solutions.

• Identify process gaps and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Prepare functional design documentation.

• Work closely with technical teams during development and integration.

4. Integration

The consultant should understand financial integrations between IFM and other enterprise systems.

Experience with the following will be an advantage:

• Infor ERP integrations

• Infor LN

• Infor M3

• Infor XA

• Infor CloudSuite products

• Infor OS

• Infor ION

• APIs / Web Services

• Banking interfaces

• Tax systems

• Third-party financial applications

5. Data Migration

• Define financial data migration requirements.

• Support mapping of legacy financial data to IFM.

• Validate migrated master and transactional data.

• Support reconciliation between legacy systems and IFM.

• Identify and resolve data-quality issues.

• Participate in mock migrations and final cutover.

6. Testing

Lead/support:

• Unit testing

• System Integration Testing (SIT)

• End-to-End testing

• Regression testing

• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Defect analysis and resolution

• Test case preparation

• Test data preparation

• Business-user validation

7. Go-Live & Support

• Support cutover activities.

• Provide go-live support.

• Troubleshoot functional issues.

• Resolve production issues in coordination with technical teams.

• Support month-end and year-end financial closing.

• Provide knowledge transfer to client finance teams.

• Prepare post-go-live documentation.

Implementation Experience

Mandatory: Proven experience in at least one end-to-end Infor IFM implementation project.

Candidates with experience across multiple IFM implementations will be preferred.

Experience should ideally cover:

Requirement Gathering → Fit-Gap → Solution Design → Configuration → Data Migration → Integration → SIT → UAT → Cutover → Go-Live → Hypercare
