Quality Engineer

SSL Changshu(Foam Solutions and Elastomer Coatings)

• Administer plant IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality management systems, including setup, review, and updates to quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, and records
• Organize and conduct internal audits (system, process, product, and customer audits) and monitor corrective actions
• Monitor and report quality performance metrics (KPIs) including scrap, waste, and customer complaints in cooperation with plant controlling and production
• Conduct quality checks during production phases; stop production processes when quality requirements are not met and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Provide training on IATF-related standards, product surface quality, and customer quality requirements
• Support the Quality Manager in preparing data for management reviews
• As the role of quality planning in FS, follow PLC process, Identify potential quality risks throughout the product lifecycle and drive preventive actions with cross-functional teams

• Demonstrated expertise in IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality management systems, with proven implementation experience
• Familiar with quality tools including APQP, SPC, FMEA, PPAP, and MSA methodologies
• Comprehensive understanding of the APQP Development Process and its application throughout the product lifecycle
• Exceptional analytical and decision-making capabilities with a track record of resolving complex quality issues
• Superior communication  abilities, with demonstrated proficiency in conflict resolution
