We are seeking aFull Stack Software Engineer to play a critical role in modernizing the technology ecosystem that supportsInternal Audit. This role sits at the intersection ofengineering excellence,cloud‑native delivery, andintelligent workflow enablement, with a strong focus on buildingenterprise‑grade systems that improveaudit lifecycle efficiency, transparency, anddata‑driven risk insights.
This is an individual contributor positionwith end‑to‑end ownershipof complex systems. You will activelydesign, build, test, and operate full stack, cloud‑native applications, while also serving as atechnical leader—driving system design decisions, setting engineering standards, andleading by example through high‑quality code.
You will deliversecure,scalable applications that embedAI‑enabled capabilities directly into user workflows—supportingstructured content generation,workflow enhancementandplanning experiences—while meeting enterprise standards forsecurity,privacy,governance, andoperational readiness.
What You Will Be Responsible For
Full Stack Engineering & Solution Design
- Serve as ahands‑on lead engineer, owning the design and implementation of complexfull stack features acrossfront‑end,back‑end,APIs, anddata layers.
- Lead technical design andsolution architecture for key initiatives, translating functional requirements intoscalable,maintainable systems.
- Build high‑quality user interfaces usingcomponent‑driven architectures and modernstate management, with strong attention tousability,accessibility, andperformance.
- Design and implementsecure,resilient backend services andRESTful APIs that support enterprise workflows andAI‑enabled user journeys.
- Set and reinforceengineering standards forcode quality,testing,documentation, and maintainability throughdesign reviews andcode reviews.
Cloud, DevOps & Production Operations
- Design and implementcloud‑native architectures, leveragingcontainerization,resiliency patterns,horizontal scalability, andperformance optimization.
- Build, own, and evolveCI/CD pipelines,infrastructure as code,automated testing, andrelease controls to enable rapid yetgoverned delivery.
- Ensure production systems meet enterprise expectations foravailability,reliability,observability, andoperational resilience.
- Own troubleshooting and resolution of complex issues across the full stack, leadingroot cause analysis and driving durable fixes.
- Champion best practices formonitoring,alerting,logging, andcost awareness in cloud environments.
AI Integration & Data Platforms
- IntegrateAI/ML capabilities into applications in close collaboration withAI and data teams, embedding them directly into user workflows.
- Implementevaluation controls,telemetry, andsafe failure modes for AI‑enabled features, includinghuman‑in‑the‑loop review checkpoints where appropriate.
- Design and integrate with databases and enterprise data platforms, includingSQL/NoSQL systems and lakehouse technologies (e.g.,Databricks).
- Build efficientdata access patterns and support scheduled or recurring processes forcontinuous monitoring,analytics, and insights generation.
Security, Risk & Compliance
- Embedsecurity,privacy, andcompliance requirements into system design and implementation from the ground up.
- Enforcesecure coding practices,identity and access controls,audit loggingand data protection standards.
- Partner with risk, security, and compliance stakeholders to ensure solutions meet regulatory and internal policy requirements in aregulated environment.
- Contribute to architectural decisions that balance innovation, usability, andrisk management in an enterprise context.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate closely with product owners, audit stakeholders, designers, AI teams, data engineers and platform partners to deliverproduction‑ready solutions.
- Help shapetechnical roadmaps, influence prioritization oftechnical debt, and drivecontinuous improvement across the engineering lifecycle.
- Lead by example in adopting and promoting modern engineering practices, tools, and patterns.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science,Software Engineering, or a related field, orequivalent practical experience; Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience delivering enterprisefull stack web applications andAPIs incloud environments, with ownership ofproduction systems.
- Experience operating in asenior or lead engineer capacity, drivingtechnical design decisions and mentoring other engineers.
- Proficiency inReact,JavaScript/TypeScript,HTML5, andCSS3.
- Strong experience building backend services andRESTful APIs usingNode.js, with exposure toPython and/orJava frameworks.
- Solid knowledge ofSQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and efficientdata access patterns.
- Hands‑on experience withAWS and/or Azure, includingcompute,storage,messaging, andobservability services.
- Experience with container platforms such asKubernetes or managed container services.
- StrongDevOps experience, includingCI/CD pipelines,infrastructure as code, andrelease management.
- Experience integratingAI/ML capabilities into applications viaAPIs, orchestration,evaluation gating, and monitoring.
- Proficiency withGit and collaborative development practices, includingcode reviews.
Nice to Have
- Experience withDatabricks or otherdata lakehouse platforms.
- Background supportingInternal Audit,Risk orFinance corporate functions.
- Experience withperformance tuning,distributed systemsand operating high‑availabilityproduction applications
- Familiarity with enterprise identity platforms,zero‑trust architectures, or advanced security controls.
- Cloud, security, or architecture certifications (Azure,AWS).
Salary Range:
$120,000 - $202,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
