IndustrialWash Floor Lead
Porter’s Industrial is seeking a dependable and hardworking Production Crew Member to join our Porter’s family. As a Crew Member working in the wash alley, you are a vital member of our plant floor operations. You will be loading and unloading industrial washers and dryers. What you’ll be doing:Ø Wash – Load, unload, and operate washing machines by wash load formulation, processing sequence, and proper sling weightØ Dry - Load and unload the dryersØ Deliver processed garments to the designated finishing areaØ Deliver processed flat goods to the designated areaØ Monitor detergent supply and report all equipment malfunctionsØ Report all production processes accuratelyØ Maintain a clean work areaØ Complete paperwork and record keeping on timeØ Follow all safety policies, HACCP, and medical guidelinesØ Perform other duties as described by the area supervisor or management
QualificationsWhat we’re looking for:Ø High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred.Ø Must be at least 18 years of age or olderØ Ability to stand for a 10-hour shiftØ Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with managementØ Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units in weight measurement, volume, and distanceØ Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs.
