Position Overview

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead day-to-day delivery execution for Data & Analytics teams supporting assigned corporate functions and enterprise priorities.

• Support continuous planning and delivery by helping teams manage intake, clarify business value, refine priorities, sequence work, and adjust plans as needs evolve.

• Partner with Data Product Managers, Data Engineering and Analytics leaders, Data Architects, Data Governance, and business stakeholders to translate roadmap priorities into actionable delivery plans.

• Facilitate delivery routines, including planning, backlog refinement, daily coordination, dependency reviews, retrospectives, stakeholder updates, demonstrations, and release-readiness discussions.

• Maintain clear visibility into deliverables, milestones, risks, blockers, dependencies, capacity constraints, assumptions, and decisions needed.

• Drive accountability for committed work by ensuring owners, timelines, acceptance criteria, data requirements, dependencies, and next steps are clearly understood.

• Coordinate dependencies across Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Governance, Security, Infrastructure, Enterprise Applications, AI and Automation, and corporate-function teams. 

• Help teams break down complex data and analytics initiatives into manageable increments that can be developed, validated, released, adopted, and measured. 

• Support delivery of Snowflake-based data products, including ingestion pipelines, integrations, transformations, data models, governed datasets, data marts, and platform enhancements. 

• Support delivery of Sigma dashboards, workbooks, reports, semantic content, and self-service analytics experiences that enable timely and informed business decisions. 

• Ensure delivery plans account for source-system readiness, data availability, business definitions, data quality, lineage, access controls, privacy, testing, validation, deployment, user adoption, and operational support. 

• Identify and escalate risks related to scope, capacity, data quality, source-system dependencies, integration complexity, technical readiness, security, governance, stakeholder availability, and timeline impacts. 

• Partner with technical leaders to ensure data solutions align with architecture standards, platform patterns, security requirements, governance policies, and long-term maintainability expectations. 

• Support testing and validation by coordinating technical testing, data reconciliation, business acceptance, production readiness, release communications, and operational handoff. 

• Help teams balance urgent reporting and analytics needs with sustainable engineering practices, reusable data products, governed definitions, and scalable platform standards. 

• Use delivery metrics such as throughput, cycle time, aging work, blocker trends, predictability, dependency health, and delivery confidence to improve execution. 

• Provide transparent communication to stakeholders regarding delivery status, risks, trade-offs, decisions, scope changes, and timeline impacts. 

• Promote team effectiveness by removing impediments, improving delivery flow, reducing unnecessary process overhead, and keeping teams focused on the highest-value outcomes. 

• Encourage responsible use of AI-enabled delivery practices, including backlog analysis, documentation support, meeting summaries, risk identification, delivery insights, data-quality analysis, and workflow improvement. 

• Contribute to continuous improvement of ZEDI delivery practices, standards, tools, and communities of practice. 

• Perform other duties as assigned. 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS 

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Delivery Lead, Project Manager, Program Coordinator, or related technology delivery role. 

• Experience supporting data platforms, data engineering teams, analytics teams, business intelligence capabilities, reporting solutions, or data-product organizations strongly preferred. 

• Working knowledge of modern data and analytics concepts, including data ingestion, transformation, integration, data modeling, semantic layers, dashboards, reporting, data quality, testing, and production readiness. 

• Experience managing deliverables to timelines in a complex, cross-functional technology environment. 

• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, hybrid delivery, traditional/waterfall, and/or continuous planning and delivery models. 

• Strong understanding of backlog management, dependency management, risk management, delivery planning, capacity planning, stakeholder communication, and release coordination. 

• Familiarity with data-governance concepts, including data ownership, stewardship, lineage, metadata, classification, access, privacy, retention, and quality management. 

• Ability to understand data requirements, business rules, key performance indicators, calculations, source-to-target relationships, and acceptance criteria. 

• Experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar tools to manage work, track delivery progress, document decisions, and communicate status. 

• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate complex delivery issues into clear business terms. 

• Experience supporting corporate functions such as Finance, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Legal, People & Culture, or enterprise technology is a plus. 

• Experience supporting cloud data platforms; practical knowledge of Snowflake is strongly preferred.  

• Experience supporting business intelligence, visualization, or self-service analytics platforms; practical knowledge of Sigma is preferred. 

• Experience working in healthcare technology, regulated environments, or enterprise shared services is a plus. 

• Agile, Scrum, SAFe, PMP, or related certifications are a plus.

EDUCATION: 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required; MBA or master’s degree preferred
