ABOUT THE ROLE 

Role Description: 

TheMaster Data Analystat Amgen will support the accuracy and consistency of master data (Material and Production) across the organization. This role will manage data validation, cleansing, and enrichment while collaborating with teams to resolve issues and ensure data integrity.The analyst will support key performance monitoring, data governance, and compliance efforts, as well as assist in data migration and integration projects. Candidates should have experiencein enterprise applications like SAP or Oracle, familiarity with data governance frameworks and compliance standards,and strong analytical skills. 

Roles & Responsibilities:  

  • Perform dataoperations tasks,mainly maintenance, and validation,to ensure the accuracy and integrity of master data for Material, BOM, Recipe and Production versions

  • Support process optimization initiatives like Sharepoint and S4 HANA to improve data management workflows and enhance efficiency 

  • Conduct data analysis toidentify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement 

  • Provide training and support to partners, customers, and end-users on master data processes, tools, and best practices. 

  • Maintain data quality reports tomonitor performance metrics and ensure data compliance. 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business, IT, and operations teams to resolve data-related issues and ensure alignment with organizational goals. 

Basic Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 5-9 years of experience in SAP ECC,master data management, data governance, or data operations, preferably in the healthcare or biotechsupply chains 

  • Technical Proficiency:Experiencein SAP/MDG, S4 HANA, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and other data management tools 

  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze large datasets and deliver actionable insights. 

  • Problem Solving: Skilled atidentifying root causes of data issues and implementing effective solutions. 

  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy and attention to detail, with a strong focus on data quality. 

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

Functional Skills: 

Must-Have Skills: 

  • Working knowledge of SAP/S4 HANA , MDG

  • Understanding of master data management processes, frameworks, and governance.  

  • Proficiency in Excel and MS Office Suite, with experience in data analysis  

  • Basicunderstanding of data governance frameworks and ensuring data accuracy and quality. 

  • Strong communication skills for presenting data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. 

Good-to-Have Skills: 

  • SAP S/4, SAP MDG, S4 HANA

Soft Skills: 

  • Goodanalytical and troubleshooting skills. 

  • Strongverbal and written communication skills. 

  • Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams. 

  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation, centered around data perfection 

  • Team-oriented, with a focus on achieving team goals.
