In Person Scribe - Multiple West DFW Locations (52578)

Duties & Responsibilities:

Document all elements of the physician and patient encounter into the HER – Electronic Health Record

Understand basic ICD-10 documentation and current billing requirements.

Retain adequate knowledge of medical terminology.

Comply with PHI laws (HIPPA/HITECH) in addition to local facility department policies and procedures.

Perform non-clinical tasks specific to each facility as directed by Physician and Chief Scribe.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:High School Diploma / GED

Qualifications:Proficient typing, concise communication

Working Environment:work is performed in hospitals, emergency departments.

Working Conditions: Prolonged periods of standing, walking, moving.
