Electrical Design Engineer - Fire Trucks

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for fire trucks and specialized vehicles. The role requires strong expertise in control systems, automotive electrical design, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparework instructions and detailed electrical schematics for fire truck systems.

• Design and develop electrical systems with strong knowledge ofcontrol systems and CAN Bus systems.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance onhydraulic-related electrical integrations, including water supply and drainage systems.

• Develop and issue electrical designs in line withproject schedules and deadlines.

• Interpret technical specifications andnegotiate design details with internal and external stakeholders.

• Coordinate closely with themechanical design team to ensure proper placement and integration of electrical components in vehicles.

• Ensure all designs comply withinternational automotive standards and regulations.

• Review and improve existing systems to enhance performance, safety, and efficiency.

Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency inAutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS

• Strong working knowledge ofMS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Expertise incontrol systems and CAN Bus systems

• Familiarity withautomotive electrical design standards

• Understanding ofhydraulic system integration

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree inElectrical Engineering or related field

• Proven experience inautomotive or heavy vehicle electrical design (preferably fire trucks or similar equipment)
