The OpportunityÂ
Abbott’s Cardiometabolic sales team has an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager covering the TN Territory.
The AM willbe responsible for managing ARDx’ s Cardiometabolic (CM) product portfolio. The target market will include physician offices, hospital accounts, corporate wellness, and IDNs.  The focus is onpoint of care diagnostic testing on ourAfinion( HbA1C and ACR) andCholestech LDX( cholesterol,lipids andglucose)  analyzer’s . Effectively work in a team environment with our Technical Consultants (TCs) and Enterprise Account Managers (EAMs). The AE will be expected to achievesales objectives as well as develop andmaintain relationships with our distributors, endusers but also work independently to uncover unmet market needs.Â
WhatYou’ll Work OnÂ
Identify sales opportunities and capitalize on them.Â
Establish, develop, andmaintainthe business and client relationships.Â
Strategic development of POC Sales opportunities.Â
Implement sales, marketing, and national account programs as directed by management.Â
Build andmaintain a strong competitive product knowledgeÂ
Contribute to the region’s growth by understanding the Account Reps'objectives and goalsÂ
Assist with the management of complex sales by providing technicalexpertiseÂ
Meet established sales goals andobjectives whilemaintaining the territory budget.Â
Plan, coordinate, and manage the sales performance of the distributor sales force(s) in the assigned territory. Train and develop these sales force(s) toestablish and maintain the ability to effectivelyrepresent Abbott’s products in the marketplace.Â
Support distribution partners in the sale of products, including training, sales meetings, technicalexpertise, and marketing support of the Abbott product lines anddistributor for private branded products.Â
Act as a resource for contract negotiation, pricing, proposal, bid preparation, and all customerfollow-up.Â
Identify customer issues and resolve sales-related difficulties.Â
Required QualificationsÂ
BA/BSÂ
4+years’ experience in medical diagnostics or business-to-business sales.Â
Strong knowledge of sales techniques and methodologiesÂ
Demonstrated ability in execution of sales strategies+Â
Proven successful POC/Capital Equipment sales experience.Â
Preferred QualificationsÂ
Contract negotiation experienceÂ
Understanding and experience working with Distribution PartnersÂ
Complex / strategic selling backgroundÂ
Balancing multiple stakeholdersÂ
