Lead, Observability Architecture & Engineering

About This Job

Key Responsibilities 

• Define reference architecture and engineering standards 

• Lead telemetry, platform,integration and automation strategy 

• Guide modernization,rationalization and adoption decisions 

• Review complex designs for resilience, security,cost and supportability 

Minimum Qualifications 

• 10+ years in observability, platform engineering, SRE, cloud or systems engineering 

• 5+ years in architecture or technical leadership 

• Experience with metrics, logs, traces, synthetics, RUM, service maps,APIs and automation 

Preferred Qualifications 

• OpenTelemetry, cloud-native, Kubernetes or distributed-systems experience 

• Large-enterprise modernization or migration 

• Cloud, SRE or architecture certification 

Level-Based Proficiency Expectation 

Enterprise principal: defines reusable architecture, resolves complex cross-platformdecisions, and develops engineering capability. 

Success Measures 

• Reference architecture and standards published and adopted 

• Priority telemetry gaps reduced 

• Onboarding repeatability improved through automation 

• Architecture decisions document capability,cost and risk
