Position Summary

The Engineering Technician supports engineering activities involving the setup, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and improvement of advanced electro-mechanical systems. The role supports prototype builds, production operations, engineering evaluations, and specialized test equipment to ensure reliable performance and production readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Support design verification, testing, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems.

• Assist in developing and validating experimental circuits, photonics applications, laser and light-transmission devices, and specialized test tools.

• Set up equipment, perform operational tests, and troubleshoot technical issues.

• Perform testing and system check-out according to engineering drawings, schematics, layouts, and technical instructions.

• Identify equipment or system faults and support corrective actions to restore functionality.

• Support the design, construction, testing, and validation of specialized test equipment.

• Operate and maintain diagnostic and measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.

• Collect, analyze, document, and report technical data to support engineering decisions.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and other teams on continuous improvement and production-readiness activities.

• Follow all applicable safety, quality, ESD-control, cleanroom, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• High Vocational Diploma or higher in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.

• + 10 years of experience in electronics, electro-mechanical manufacturing, production support, or an engineering environment.

• Hands-on experience in equipment setup, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, or prototype support.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, layouts, and technical documentation.

• Ability to use diagnostic and measurement equipment, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.

• Knowledge of photonics systems, logic circuits, wire bonding, die attach, or optical components is an advantage.

• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently with limited supervision.

• Basic computer skills and ability to prepare technical reports.

• Able to work shifts and overtime as required.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in engineering laboratories, production areas, and cleanroom environments.

• The role may require prolonged standing, walking, or sitting while setting up, testing, or troubleshooting equipment.

• The position involves handling tools, test equipment, electrical systems, and delicate components.

• Cleanroom garments and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.

• All safety, quality, ESD-control, and cleanroom procedures must be followed.

• Shift work and overtime may be required based on engineering and production needs.

หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบ

• รวบรวม วิเคราะห์ บันทึก และรายงานข้อมูลทางเทคนิค เพื่อสนับสนุนการตัดสินใจของทีมวิศวกรรม

• ทำงานร่วมกับฝ่ายวิศวกรรม ฝ่ายผลิต ฝ่ายคุณภาพ และหน่วยงานอื่น เพื่อปรับปรุงกระบวนการและเตรียมความพร้อมสำหรับการผลิต

คุณสมบัติ

• วุฒิ ปวส. ขึ้นไป สาขาไฟฟ้า อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ เครื่องกล เมคคาทรอนิกส์ หรือสาขาเทคนิคที่เกี่ยวข้อง

• มีประสบการณ์ 10 ปี ในอุตสาหกรรมอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ ระบบไฟฟ้าและเครื่องกล งานสนับสนุนการผลิต หรืองานวิศวกรรม

• มีประสบการณ์ปฏิบัติงานจริงด้านการติดตั้งอุปกรณ์ การแก้ไขปัญหา การบำรุงรักษาเชิงป้องกัน หรือการสนับสนุนงานต้นแบบ

• สามารถอ่านและตีความแบบวิศวกรรม แผนผังวงจร Layout และเอกสารทางเทคนิคได้

• สามารถใช้เครื่องมือวิเคราะห์และเครื่องมือวัด เช่น ออสซิลโลสโคป มัลติมิเตอร์ และเครื่องกำเนิดสัญญาณได้
