About The Client:

Essential Job Functions:
- Team Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Identify Service Line team, ensuring that all activities are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Communication:
- Maintain regular communication with the Identify Service Line Manager and other stakeholders to report on progress, challenges, and next steps.
- Threat Surveillance Oversight:
- Ensure the effective execution of Threat Surveillance activities, including inventory management, brand surveillance, leak surveillance, and third-party surveillance.
- Malware Analysis Coordination:
- Supervise the analysis of suspicious files or tools in a controlled environment, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of findings.
- Cyber Threat Intelligence:
- Facilitate the collection and analysis of threat intelligence, focusing on emerging threats, attacker activities, and strategic insights for decision-makers.
- Critical Issue Management:
- Handle important or critical topics directly, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
- Performance Reporting:
- Produce and communicate monthly KPIs on each activity to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Development Strategy Contribution:
- Contribute to the development strategy of the Identify Service Line, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Experience 7+
Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant certifications.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a team leadership role.
- Knowledge of DNS (Domain Name Systems), including concepts related to typosquatting and domain spoofing.
- Experience in investigating and reporting on cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Understanding of supply chain attacks and their impact on third-party incidents, with the ability to assess and respond to related threats
- Experience in data leak detection and response, including understanding the implications of data leaks and strategies for mitigation.
- Knowledge in malware analysis and sandboxing techniques.
- Experience in leveraging sandbox environments for testing and analyzing suspicious files
- Understanding of Cyber Threat Intelligence processes, including the ability to collect, analyze, and disseminate threat intelligence from various sources.
- Familiarity with the methodologies for assessing the credibility and relevance of threat intelligence sources, ensuring that the information used is reliable and applicable to the organization's context.
- Understanding of Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) and their application in threat detection and response.
- Experience in utilizing threat intelligence platforms to correlate data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights on emerging threats and threat actor behaviors.
- Familiarity with proxy technologies and their role in cybersecurity (e.g., web filtering, traffic monitoring).
- Proficient in using security tools such as SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
- Basic knowledge of incident response processes and methodologies
- Understanding of the MITRE Telecommunication&CK framework and the cyber kill chain.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical challenges in business-friendly language to a range of stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of analysts daily.
- Ability to track team activities and generate meaningful metrics to present to management.
- Team-oriented and skilled in working collaboratively across different service lines.
- Good sense of priorities and initiative, with a rigorous and autonomous work ethic.
- Professional curiosity and a desire to continuously learn and improve.
