ALTEN Mexico as a subsidiary of the ALTEN Group. Currently working with international clients, and we are looking for anElectrical Engineer who will contribute to the development of anIron Air Battery, a large-scale energy storage solution, through the design, development, and validation of theelectrical systems of the Iron Air Battery, ensuring functionality, safety, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Designelectrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts for power, control, and monitoring systems.
• Performshort-circuit, overcurrent, and ground fault analyses to ensure system safety.
• Selectelectrical components (e.g., relays, fuses, transformers) based on technical requirements.
• Validate designs through laboratory testing (e.g., insulation, dielectric strength).
• Collaborate withCAE and mechanical teams to integrate electrical systems.
• Documenttechnical specifications, user manuals, and test reports.
• Ensure compliance withelectrical standards (e.g., NEC, IEC 61439, UL 508A).

Must‑Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inElectrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in AUTOCAD Electrical, EPLAN, Solidworks Electrical or related.
• Knowledge of electrical standards such as NEC, IEC, UL and component selection.
• Ability to review electrical diagrams with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to participate in electrical safety reviews and risk analyses (e.g., FMEA).
• Support certification documentation (e.g., UL, IEC).

• English level B2–C1.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Energy Storage Systems, Power Electronics.
• Knowledge in SCADA/PLC.
• Hands-on experience with corrosive/hight-temperature design
• Knowledge in Python/LabVIEW
