With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.
US: $207000 - $300000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
- Experience with Infrastructure and Production Systems.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Experience leading engineering teams in distributed transactional storage.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and grow a team of software engineers. Drive hiring, onboarding, career development, mentorship, and performance management while fostering a high-trust, high-performance, collaborative team culture.
- Define and drive the strategic direction and engineering roadmaps aligning technical investments with Google Home’s long-term goals.
- Partner with client teams to establish clear roles and responsibilities for horizontal infrastructure.
