IBM Sterling File Transfer Specialist –

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented File Transfer Specialist to join our integration team. This role involves onboarding and managing trading partners in IBM Sterling Gateway , maintaining and modifying existing file transfer configurations, and supporting cloud-based transfer solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of file transfer protocols, change management processes, and tools like ServiceNow , JIRA , and AzCopy .

Key Responsibilities:

· Partner Onboarding & Configuration:

o Set up and configure new trading partners in IBM Sterling Gateway .

oCollaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather onboarding requirements.

oEnsure secure and compliant data exchange configurations.

· File Transfer Management:

o Analyze and understand existing file transfer configurations.

oModify configurations with minimal risk and no disruption to ongoing operations.

oTroubleshoot and resolve file transfer issues promptly.

· Protocol & Tool Expertise:

o Work with various file transfer protocols such as SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, and Connect:Direct .

oUse AzCopy and other tools for cloud-based file transfers (e.g., Azure Blob Storage).

· Change & Release Management:

o Follow established change management and release management processes.

oRaise and track change requests using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.

oCoordinate deployments and ensure proper documentation and approvals.

· Project & Ticketing Tools:

o Use JIRA for tracking tasks, bugs, and enhancements.

oMaintain clear and up-to-date documentation of configurations and changes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· 3–5 years of experience in file transfer operations or integration roles.

· Hands-on experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway or Sterling B2B Integrator .

· Strong understanding of file transfer protocols and data security .

· Working knowledge of AzCopy and cloud storage solutions (preferably Azure).

· Familiarity with ServiceNow , JIRA , and ITIL-based processes.

· Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

· Knowledge in US Healthcare domain and X12 EDI format ( nice to have )

· Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
