About The Job:
- We are seeking a skilled Client Optim Specialist who will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing Client Infosphere Optim solutions for data archiving, test data management, and data privacy compliance.
- Optim engineers will work closely with database administrators, developers, QA, and compliance teams to manage structured data across enterprise systems securely and efficiently
- Install, configure, and maintain Client Infosphere Optim solutions for data archiving, masking, and sub setting.
- Develop and manage data privacy and masking strategies to ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Design and implement test data management processes using Optim for development and QA environments.
- Collaborate with DBAs and application owners to identify sensitive data and apply appropriate protection mechanisms.
- Automate Optim workflows using scripts and scheduler tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Optim performance and functionality.
- Provide support for data archiving, retrieval, and retention projects using Client Optim.
- Create documentation, SOPs, and knowledge transfer materials for internal teams.
- Conduct training sessions for developers and QA teams on Optim usage and best practices.
- Experience: 4 to 6 years
- Expertise in various modules such as Data Privacy, Test Data Management, Data Archiving, and Data Masking.
- Optim Configuration & Administration - Installation, configuration, upgrading, and maintenance of Client Optim software.
- Experience creating and managing masking policies and data masking rules to protect sensitive data.
- Using Optim extract, subset, and provision test data for development and QA teams.
- Knowledge of configuring and executing data archiving processes to manage historical data.
- Scripting and automating workflows within Optim using command-line interfaces and schedulers.
- Strong SQL writing and optimization skills across different RDBMS platforms.
- Working knowledge of Oracle, Client DB2, Microsoft SQL Server, and other relational databases.
- Understanding of database schemas, indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning.
- Experience implementing data protection and governance policies using Optim
- Education qualification: Graduate B. Tech, BE, BCA, MCA, M. Tech or equivalent technical degree from a reputed college.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Client Infosphere Optim (Data Privacy, Test Data Management, or Data Archiving).
- Strong experience with relational databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, or SAP HANA.
- Understanding of data privacy regulations and data masking principles.
- Proficiency in SQL, shell scripting, and job scheduling tools.
- ETL & Data Integration: Basic knowledge of ETL tools like Client DataStage, Informatica, or Talend for integration with Optim
- Client Infosphere Optim certification.
- Experience with version control and CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of data governance and metadata management.
- Experience integrating Optim with other ETL or data integration tools
