What are we looking for?
The Sales Performance Lead – Bancassurance is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving performance excellence, leading analytics and insights, and optimizing sales effectiveness across all bancassurance channels. This position oversees performance management frameworks, sales incentive strategies, data governance, and reporting infrastructure. The Sales Performance Lead acts as a key partner to Distribution, Finance, Product, and Technology teams to align sales execution with business growth targets, ensuring performance transparency, operational efficiency, and commercial success.
What are we expecting from this role?
1. Sales Performance Management Support:
- Support the Head of Department in monitoring bancassurance sales performance against monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Prepare performance dashboards, sales trackers, and management reports to support business reviews and decision-making.
- Analyze sales trends, productivity gaps, and branch or channel performance to identify key issues and improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate regular performance review materials for regional heads, branch teams, and senior management discussions.
2. Data Analytics, Insights & Reporting:
- Lead the development of advanced analytics models to forecast sales trends, retention performance, and channel productivity.
- Manage enterprise-level dashboards and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) to deliver real-time business intelligence.
- Ensure data integrity and standardization across internal and bank partner systems.
- Supervise regular reporting cycles (daily/weekly/monthly) and contribute to board-level presentations and business reviews.
3. Sales Incentive Design & Governance:
- Design robust commission, incentive, and rewards frameworks aligned with partner bank goals and internal sales strategy.
- Lead simulations, sensitivity analyses, and ROI evaluations of reward structures.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Compliance to ensure accurate, transparent, and auditable incentive calculations and disbursements.
- Drive automation and process improvement in incentive workflows and validations.
4. Stakeholder Management & Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Act as the key liaison between Sales, Finance, Technology, Compliance, and Product teams for all performance-related initiatives.
- Partner with bank distribution leaders to align sales goals, training needs, and field performance insights.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives based on feedback, market shifts, and business priorities.
5. Execution Discipline & Capability Support:
- Support the implementation of performance management routines, including branch reviews, action tracking, and follow-up monitoring.
- Assist in preparing sales communication materials, guidance notes, and training support materials for field teams.
- Promote a data-driven working culture by supporting consistent reporting standards and clear performance visibility.
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Data Science, or a related field; MBA or relevant master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales performance, analytics, or strategic planning, preferably in the insurance or banking sector.
- Deep understanding of bancassurance distribution models, life insurance products, and financial compliance frameworks.
- Proven experience working across cross-functional projects and performance transformation initiatives.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Excel, and data analytics tools. Knowledge of Python or R for statistical modeling is a plus.
- Experience in CRM, incentive automation systems, and bancassurance partner platforms (e.g., Salesforce, TCS BaNCS, etc.).
- Strong business acumen to convert data into strategic decisions
