About IntelliShift

IntelliShift is a fleet intelligence platform on a mission to create a safer, smarter tomorrow for the fleets that move the world. We bring telematics, AI dash cams, maintenance, compliance, and safety together in one connected platform — built for fleet people, by fleet people. And we’re always thinking about what comes next.

About the Role

The Warehouse Hardware Associate is where our hardware lifecycle begins and ends. Your primary focus is processing equipment returned from the field — receiving it, testing it against our process, and getting it routed back into stock or on for warranty review. From there you'll prepare hardware for its next deployment, and as you grow into the role, take on device configuration and firmware updates. You'll also take on broader warehouse operations including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and shipping.

This is hands-on work with connected-vehicle hardware, so you'll need to be comfortable handling devices and following a technical procedure carefully and consistently. No engineering or IT background is required — we'll train you on our hardware and systems. You'll also work directly with our customer-facing teams, processing their hardware requests and keeping them updated, so communicating clearly in writing and out loud matters as much as accuracy in the warehouse.

You’ll work onsite at our Commack headquarters, reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor.

What You'll Do

  • Process returned hardware. Receive, inspect, and test equipment returned from the field. Process RMAs, route units back into stock or on for warranty review, and keep clear records of what came back and why.
  • Prep hardware for deployment. Ready devices for stock and customer deployment, and as you grow in the role, take on device configuration and firmware updates.
  • Support our customer-facing teams. Process the hardware and order requests they send your way, keep them updated on status, and flag anything that's going to be delayed or is out of stock.
  • Keep inventory accurate. Run cycle counts and monthly physical audits, receive and reconcile incoming stock against purchase orders, and organize, label, and store inventory in its designated locations.
  • Monitor and replenish stock. Track technician and field inventory levels, and flag or restock as needed.
  • Fulfill and ship orders. Pick, pack, and ship hardware for new deployments, add-ons, and replacements; prepare shipping documentation; and process customer and internal orders accurately and on time, including self-install and subcontractor workflows.
  • Maintain records. Keep documentation and inventory records current in Excel and our systems, and support routine reporting.
  • Keep the warehouse safe and organized. Maintain a clean, organized space, follow all safety standards and company procedures, and share ideas to improve accuracy and speed.

What You’ll Bring

Must-haves

  • Comfort with hands-on technical work. You like working with devices and equipment, and you can follow a technical procedure accurately every time. No engineering or IT background needed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication. You'll be fielding requests from other teams and keeping them informed, so clarity matters.
  • Working proficiency in Excel and comfort picking up new software systems.
  • A detail-oriented, dependable team player who takes pride in accuracy.
  • Comfort working on your feet in a warehouse, including lifting and handling hardware.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle several priorities in a day.

Nice-to-haves

  • Exposure to hardware, electronics, or device configuration.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, or logistics setting.
  • Familiarity with inventory management or order systems.
  • Experience in a role where you handled requests from other teams or customers.

The Values You’ll Live By

Our five core values aren’t posters on a wall — they show up in how we work every day. In this role, that looks like:

  • Customer-Obsessed —You keep customers at the center of your decisions, because when they win, we win.
  • No-Box Innovation —You bring practical ideas to make the operation better.
  • Growth through Friction —You treat problems as a signal, fix what’s inefficient, and push for something better.
  • Trust through Action —You do what you say you’ll do, and your accuracy earns trust.
  • Own It —You take pride in your work and own the outcomes.

How We Measure Success

  • Hardware readiness. Returns processed accurately and devices prepped correctly the first time.
  • Responsive support. Requests from other teams handled promptly, with clear status along the way.
  • Inventory accuracy. Cycle counts and audits that reconcile cleanly.
  • On-time, error-free fulfillment. Orders picked, packed, and shipped correctly and on schedule.
  • A safe, organized warehouse. Stock in its place and safety standards followed every day.

Why IntelliShift

The fleets we serve keep essential work moving, and the hardware you handle is what makes that possible. This role puts you at the center of how it gets there, and it's a genuine place to build a foundation in operations, logistics, and connected-vehicle technology.

  • Hands-on work that directly supports the fleets we serve.
  • A close-knit operations team where your accuracy and hustle matter.
  • Room to learn and grow into broader operations and logistics roles.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer competitive compensation, commensurate with experience: $20–$21/hour. We also offer outstanding benefits to simplify the lives of our employees and show them how much we appreciate their contributions. IntelliShift provides a full benefits package including company-subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401K with a 4% company contribution.

This is a full-time, nonexempt position requiring an in-office presence, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, at our HQ in Commack, NY.
