The Role

As aHusbandry Agent, you will be responsible for ensuringefficient coordination of port calls andexceptional customer service. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth execution ofHusbandry services in compliance with global standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate withSASA Account Sales to ensure seamless execution of Husbandry port calls.
• Respond to and follow up on customer inquiries promptly.
• Assign andmonitor service execution for all port appointments.
• EnsureProforma Disbursement Accounts (DAs) are sent on time.
• Manageadvance funding to local agents, ensuring timely remittance at least3 days before vessel arrival.
• Verifypre-funding approvals and escalate deviations for appropriate authorization.
• Overseevessel monitoring and service coordination, including change requests, while ensuring compliance withShips Agency Standard Operating Procedures.
• Select and booksuppliers and sub-agents, ensuring compliance withSupplier Governance Standards.
• Track and record expenses related to port calls.
• Monitor global port calls and collaborate with Operations to meet customer expectations.
• EnsureCash-in-Transit (Cash to Master) transactions follow Wilhelmsen procedures.
• Identify andsuggest process improvements for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• ManageDA handling (Proforma & Revised), ensuring accurate data entry and verification.
• Register andfollow up on complaints and non-compliance reports.
• Participate inbusiness review meetings with customers and collaborate with Key Account Managers (KAMs).

Who You Are

• Experienced in themaritime industry, preferably inship agency operations.
• Fluent inEnglish (written and spoken).
• Organized, detail-oriented, andable to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient inMicrosoft Office and operational systems.
• Strong communicator withexcellent problem-solving skills.
