Want to use your people leadership and strategic mindset to elevate the associate experience in a high-velocity fulfillment center environment? The Human Resources Office Manager is a critical thought-partner role that blends hands-on leadership with strategic HR expertise to ensure our people processes run as efficiently as our operations. In this role, you’ll use data to paint a workforce picture for your leadership team, inspiring thoughtful action that strengthens engagement, retention, and performance.

What you'll do...

As a trusted advisor and culture champion within the fulfillment center, you'll play an important role in shaping the associate experience and reinforcing our customer-first mindset. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you'll partner with business leaders to execute talent initiatives, provide associate support, and align workforce planning strategies with operational needs.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Building authentic relationships – Cultivate strong partnerships with business leaders and associates, understand their needs, and support efforts to foster a world-class work environment.
  • Operating with excellence – Lead the effective implementation of new HR programs and policies while ensuring the consistent execution of existing initiatives.
  • Innovating the HR strategy – Understand your business partners' evolving priorities and collaborate to develop HR strategies that support operational objectives and long-term success.
  • Leveraging partnerships and tools – Build internal and external partnerships, maximize available resources, and develop creative solutions to address business needs.
  • Crafting a workforce plan – Facilitate talent reviews and succession planning discussions, partnering with operational leaders to translate workforce strategies into actionable plans.



Responsibilities

  • Lead daily HR office operations, ensuring consistent execution of onboarding, associate relations, attendance management, and compliance processes within the fulfillment center.
  • Partner with Operations leadership to align workforce planning, staffing strategies, and associate engagement initiatives with business needs.
  • Monitor and analyze key workforce metrics, including turnover, retention, attendance, and engagement, and develop action plans to drive continuous improvement.
  • Coach and support frontline and salaried leaders on performance management, policy interpretation, associate relations, and talent development.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while maintaining adherence to company policies and ethical standards.
  • Lead associate relations investigations and conflict resolution efforts, fostering a respectful, inclusive, and positive workplace culture.
  • Support recruitment, hiring, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives to strengthen the internal talent pipeline and drive long-term organizational success.

Minimum Qualifications...

Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year's supervisory experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field OR 2 years' Walmart Logistics management experience OR 2 years' supervisory experience, including 1 year's experience managing human resource processes OR 1 year's Walmart Stores, Inc. Human Resources experience.

Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
